Lack of Exercise A Leading Cause of Disease, Lost Quality of Life, and Early Death

I find our cultural beliefs about exercise quite interesting. I think that many people believe that exercise is something to do to lose weight or even to just get fit, but the truth is that exercise is a required nutrient for health and well being, SERIOUSLY. There are vast amounts of research supporting the extensive benefits of exercise and the effects of exercise deficiency and there is a clear association that not getting enough exercise is associated with all cause mortality [death]. Next time you think you do not have time for a walk or to go to the gym, ask yourself a bigger picture question, like, What else could be more important than adding years to my life?
